| Parameters |
| Scale |
These three controls scale the shader in the X, Y and Z axis. The
bigger each of the values the smaller the shader pattern will appear.
|
| Center |
These three controls position the center of the shader in the X, Y and Z axis.
It is possible by moving the shader center over time to create swirling noise
animations.
|
| Disturb |
The shader can be stirred up, or disturbed, using a turbulence function with these
three values controlling it. The three values control the Magnitude, Scale and Number
Of Octaves respectively. The Magnitude value controls the size of the shader disturbance.
For turbulence to be generated this must be greater then zero. The larger this value
the more disturbed the shader is. The Scale value controls the frequency of the shader
disturbance. The larger this value smaller period of the turbulence and therefore, the
finer the shader disturbance. The Number Of Octaves value controls the number of noise
summing used in the shader disturbance. The higher this value the more octaves
and the finer the detail of the disturbance will be become.

| Stencil Image |
The stencil image is an image that can be used to control the bump height. When the stencil
image is used the brightness in-conjunction with the Bump Height determine the scaling of the
bumps at any point.
|
| Stencil Image |
The parameter controls the use of the stencil map. When the value is 0.0 the stencil
image is not used. When the value is 1.0 the bumps will be scaled such that when
the image is brighter the bumps will be higher. Conversely, when this value is -1.0 then
image is negated so that the bumps will be highest where the image is darkest.
|
| Axes |
This parameter sets the axis around which the drops are drawn. A value of 0.0 sets the
X axis, 1.0 the Y axis and 2.0 the Z axis.
|
| Min/Max Wave Length |
These parameters determine the start and end wavelengths. The wavelength controls the distance between the peaks of the ripples.
As the texture is animated the ripple will start from the minimum wave, when time is 0.0, and finish at the maximum wave when
time is 1.0.
|
| Min/Max Radius |
These parameters determine the start and end radii. The radius controls the distance from the center to the outer ripple. As the texture
is animated the ripple will start from the minimum radius, when time is 0.0, and finish at the maximum radius when time is 1.0.
|
| Min/Max Ripples |
These parameters determine the start and end number of ripples. As the texture is animated the number of ripples will start from the minimum
ripple, when time is 0.0, and finish with the number of ripples set by maximum ripple when time is 1.0.
|
| Min/Max Bump Height |
These parameters determine the start and end amplitudes of the ripple. The bump controls the height of the peaks of the ripples.
As the texture is animated the ripple will start from the minimum bump, when time is 0.0, and finish at the maximum bump when
time is 1.0. Note As time increases the ripple amplitude is reduced to control the fading of the ripples.
|
| Min/Max Life |
These parameters determine minimum and maximum time the rain drops will last for. The smaller these values the
quicker the will drops disperse.
|
| Seed |
This parameter is the random seed for the animation different values will produce different rain patterns.
|
| Drops |
This parameter determines the number of rain drops in the animation.
|
| Spread |
This parameter controls the spread of the rain drops. The rain drops are spread in a random fashion
around the textures center with a radius determined by this value.
|
| Time |
This parameter controls the time through the animation of the drop. In order to create one full cycle of animation an
envelope must be set up that changes this parameter from 0.0 to 1.0.
