Help On IFW2_Display

Colors Section
The color controls work in the same way as the controls used for color maps. However, each color has a specific use. The first color selects the On Color of the display while color two selects the Off Color.

Mix Affects
The Mix Affects check box simply specifies that the variation used to control the color display, i.e. the on and off parts, can be used to vary any affects that are applied. The Alpha preview option can be used to see the affect that this might have. Note For this function to work correctly the Draw Unlit LEDs check box must be enabled.

Pass On Mix
Information about the Pass On Mix check box can be found in the Materials Map section.

LED Shape
The LED Shape check box controls the shape of the LEDs in the UV LEDs shader. When the box is checked the LEDs will be square and when unchecked they will be round.

Scroll Type
For the UV LEDs shader the Scroll Type check box determines whether the LEDs scroll in sequence, when the box is checked, or in a random order, when the box is unchecked. Note The LEDs sequence must also be ordered to get a sequence LED scroll.

For the other shaders the Scroll Type check box determines the direction in which the characters are scrolled. When the box is checked they scroll to the left and when unchecked they scroll to the right.

Draw Unlit LEDs
The Draw Unlit LEDs check box controls whether unlit parts of the display are drawn. When the check box is enabled the unlit parts are drawn.

Realtime
The Realtime check box determines whether the counter is displayed as a count value or converted to a realtime clock value. When the check box is enabled the display is a real time clock.

24Hour
The 24Hour check box controls whether the real time clock is displayed in 12 hour or 24 hour format. When the check box is enabled the display will be 24 hours.

Show Seconds
The Show Seconds check box determines whether the seconds are displayed on the real time clock display. If this box is checked then the seconds will be displayed.

Ordered On
The Ordered On check box determines the on pattern for the UV LEDs. If the check box is enabled then the LEDs are turned On, based on the percentage on LEDs On, in order otherwise the LEDs are turned on in a random sequence.

Ping Pong
The Ping Pong LEDs check box controls the animation of the UV LEDs. By default, when the box is unchecked the animated repeats once, start to finish. If the check box is enabled the animation ping pongs. That is it goes from start to finish and back to start.

Affects Section
With the display texture the surface attributes can be controlled by the actual display pattern. For information about how the actual affect controls work check out the Affects section. The important thing to remember is that the alpha map is created by the pattern of the display and can include the on and off sections.

Layer Section
Details of the Material Map controls can be found in the Material Map Controls section.

Details of the noise controls can be found in the Noise Controls section.
